Unfortunately, very few units were sold with the optional wood cabinets, and even fewer have survived as long or as well as the equipment. When these survivors are offered for sale, they fetch premium prices, and most still need restoration work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis case is made of solid walnut, with mitered corners, open bottom, and original factory ventilation on the top. We use only solid wood for the strength, beauty, and variation of natural wood grain that you just can't get with veneers. This case does not include the original metal vent, so you'll need to retain the vent from the top of your original factory case. It is easily detached from the original case by removing 5 screws from inside.
